Great Cockcrow Railway Data 2021

General
The effects of the Covid pandemic lasted well into 2021 and not until midsummer, the 11th of July, did the railway open again and then some days were lost to wet weather; see 'Car Park' below. Thus the number of Sundays we could open to the public was roughly half that of a normal year. There were no August Wednesday openings. A final blow was that Halloween was cancelled due to wet weather.

Car park
The poor drainage of the car park remained an issue. After prolonged rainfall, even if the Sunday was dry it would be impossible to open the railway for fear of cars getting stuck in mud. The data shows the several days when we were unable to open to the public and so shows no service trains.

Train Loading
This is the average number of passengers on each train; which varies considerably. See the graph of 'Train Loading'.
